When Greenpeace advocates the reduction of 80% of GHG (greenhouse gases) by 2050, where oil reserves are decreasing and storage of nuclear waste becomes a problem. Considering the H2 Project on Hydrogen as a factor for producing sustainable energy.
The solution we prefer is the tidal
based on ocean currents : hydrokinetic energy
and the movement of waves : wave energy.
How to bring this electricity back with minimal losses?
How to produce it and store it on a large scale ?
We have imagined a marine platform (1)
which would be linked to wave energy converters (2) and hydrokinetic turbines (3).
So, we would have a clean electricity production and close,
decreasing the probability of a cable rupture and losses of electricity.
The electricity would be sent to a big sass full of seawater.
That one would be the place of hydrogen production by the electrolysis processes.
This produced hydrogen would be stored in bottles via a compressing factory.
One of the main advantages of the H2 PROJECT is to produce hydrogen,
which can be used in many different ways, by using several green energies during the production.
Produced electricity can not be stored. It is instantly consumed or lost. Batteries have disadvantages: weight, cost, low productivity, danger. But Hydrogen is presented as an energy carrier and it can be stored with different processes.
