It looks like a snake which produces electricity from the wave energy.

• Breaking of cables,
• Pelamis must be installed in strong waves zones, so away from the coast. The repatriation to the ground of the electricity is limited because of the cables stretched on too long distances.

Solution provided by the H2 Project :

The solution would be to link the Pelamis to a marine platform ; the objective would be the utilization of shorter cables, avoiding breakings and losses of electricity resulted by the energy transfer by cables.
